When our beloved family dog passed away earlier this year, Sarah’s mom asked Shawn to make her something with concrete to remember her by. Her name was Nikki.

What Shawn created was too special to end with our family. Nikki’s name was cut from copper and inlayed into countertop-quality concrete with seeded basalt rock. It was a beautiful tribute and a perfect remembrance stone for Nikki – hence, Nikkistones. 

We will soon set aside time to produce these on a custom, made-to-order basis for individuals and their families. We plan to market them at a reasonable cost with a set amount donated to animal-related non-profits in our area.
