Extreme Concrete Makeover

Port Angeles, WA

This 1970s home owned by Sarah’s parents was in dire need of a concrete makeover. After removing the undersized brick entry, root-ridden driveway, and otherwise tired concrete, SCC designed a custom front porch and back patio to rejuvenate the home. We choose a balance of angular and organic shapes for the design.  All upper level surfaces are SCC custom with the lower level and stair faces in exposed aggregate. For a richer appearance, the concrete was colored with a low percentage of black. SCC completed the project with basalt retaining walls to create a visual break between the new concrete and the landscaping.

Customer Testimonial

“It may sound like I am bragging, but that's because I am. My son-in-law designed and created a driveway, porch, and back patio showpiece. Everyone who comes to our home cannot believe the beautiful transformation. It has totally changed our home.” - Sue
