Basement-Style Floating Home

Our second floating home foundation was constructed with G. Little Construction.This foundation was basement-style, instead of encased-form like the previous one. The forming process was particularly challenging in that no snap ties could be used. Instead, the walls were formed using carpentry techniques.  Because of this and many other factors specific to the design, this project required extensive out-of-the-box thinking from both SCC and G. Little. We’re pleased to say we successfully “reinvented the wheel!”
